CHESS

Event Description:

1. Total of 6 rounds (this number is flexible w.r.t the number of participants will be played).
2. All matches will be timed (30 minutes per game).
3. All matches will be played as per the latest FIDE rules.
4. In case of any discrepancy, the decision of the Arbiter(s) will be final and binding.
5. The rounds will NOT be elimination rounds.
6. The organizers and Arbiter(s) hold the right to cancel a player’s participation if the player is found using unfair means or disturbing other players including his/her opponent.

Time and Venue:
15th October @ University Building (U413/ U513)

On-the-spot Registration closes at – 10:00 AM (15 October 2017)

Timings:

Round 1 :: 11:00 – 11:30
Round 2 :: 12:00 – 12:30
Round 3 :: 13:00 – 13:30

Lunch :: 13:30 – 14:30

Round 4 :: 14:30 – 15:00
Round 5 :: 15:30 – 16:00
Round 6 :: 16:30 – 17:00

Result :: 17:15

Game Structure:

1. Each player will have 15 minutes (clocked) per game.
2. No increment will be set in the clocks.
3. Walkover time will be 5 minutes from the start of the clock’s time.
4. Pairing and Seeding lists will be computerized.

Entry fee: ₹100 per head
